Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

“Melody is the essence of music” Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once said. Applied to painting, this would mean: the colors make the picture – and that’s exactly what this workshop is about.

For the size 40×30 cm on a stretcher, we first sketch with a pencil. A stencil helps to get the proportions right. Then we consider where light and dark areas are and design the face in acrylic paints. The background is added at the end.

All the materials we use are very high quality, for example, the stretcher frames from Artina or the acrylic paints from Künstlerbedarf Gerstäcker.
